Stan Bush Endorsing Greg Bennett Guitars

In Uncategorized on August 13, 2009 at 5:06 pm

Los Angeles, CA—August 13, 2009Stan Bush, the Emmy Award-winning singer and songwriter famed for Shia LaBoeuf’s favorite song, Transformers anthem “The Touch,” is now the proud endorsee of Greg Bennett Guitars. His new guitar, The Greg Bennett ROYALE 3, winner of the “Editor’s Pick Award” from Guitar Player Magazine, is now accompanying Bush on all of his upcoming gigs.
“It’s a great honor to endorse and play a guitar with such an amazing tone,” said Bush.
The ROYALE addresses the performance shortcomings of this great design. The sides and center block are made from one piece of wood, creating a more rigid structure for mounting the neck, top and back. The result is uncommon attack and sustain, without sacrificing the rich, full tone, making it more like a solid body with incredible tone, warmth and fullness.

Dream Theater, Saga, Kansas Members Form Supergroup Roswell Six for Music CD Based on Fantasy Novel by Bestselling Author

Kevin J. Anderson and author wife Rebecca Moesta co-write the lyrics and deem this CD their “dream project”

For Immediate Release: Colorado Springs, CO – May 28, 2009 – A fantasy fiction publishing first: It took NY Times and USA Today best-selling author and innovator Kevin J. Anderson to launch the first-of-its-kind music CD with lyrics written by Anderson and his author wife Rebecca Moesta, based on his new novel The Edge of the World from his Terra Incognita series (Orbit Books). Anderson, one of the fiction world’s most popular novelists who just launched the Superman-Batman thriller Enemies and Allies (HarperCollins) two weeks ago, is releasing music CD Terra Incognita: Beyond the Horizon (ProgRock Records) by Roswell Six, which includes performances from world-renowned musicians. Said Anderson, “My work has always been heavily influenced by music, but Terra Incognita truly takes this into new territory.”

The new CD includes music by keyboardist/composer Erik Norlander (Rocket Scientists), James LaBrie (Dream Theater), Michael Sadler (ex-Saga), John Payne (Asia featuring John Payne) and Lana Lane (the “Queen of Symphonic Rock”). Additional artists performing on the CD are members of the groups Kansas, Shadow Gallery, IQ, Ghost Circus, Under the Sun, and Prymary. Together, this creative team has sold more than 45 million copies of their own works worldwide.

Said ProgRock Records Executive Producer Shawn Gordon, “This project checked off about half of the items on my bucket list. Imagine what kind of fantasy world I’m in when I get to work with one of my favorite authors, favorite vocalists, and favorite musicians. Hearing the story come to life is really an amazing experience. There’ll be a lot of new crossover fans from this project.”

The sample tracks on the Roswell Six MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/roswellsix) have had more than 40,000 plays in two months. Anderson, renowned for his marketing genius, had an ambitious widget created for distribution across the Web, which contains animated cover art, a summary of the book, three sample chapters, a video interview with Anderson and two sample tracks from the CD. (See the widget at www.wordfire.com).
